WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN BUYING HANDMADE

Inspired by my boyasaurus, Wolfe, and my lifelong love of dinosaurs, when you purchase a Wolfe and Scamp dinosaur or dragon hoodie, you aren't just purchasing a jacket. You are purchasing an original design by me (Wolfe's mom!) that is unique, lovingly handcrafted and made in the USA with the highest quality standards, just for you!

SHIPPING

When can I expect to receive my order?
We know it's hard to wait! Your made-to-order hoodie will ship approximately 2-3 weeks from date of purchase.

Once shipped, most domestic orders take anywhere from 2 to 5 business days to arrive, (depending on the shipping option you selected at checkout and the efficiency of your local postal service). International shipping delivery average between 2 and 12 weeks.

What is Route Shipping Protection? Why is it in my cart?
Route shipping protection is a premium shipping protection service we offer for our customers' protection.

- Route + automatically shows up in your cart at check out.
- For a nominal fee (around 1% of your order total) your package is protected.
- When you file a claim with Route +, they will review the claim for approval for a refund within 24 hours.

If you decline Route shipping protection at checkout -- in the unfortunate event your package is missing, lost, stolen or damaged due to shipping -- Wolfe and Scamp is not liable for locating, refunding or replacing your missing items. We strongly recommend you leave Route shipping protection selected at checkout.

Will you replace or refund an order which is either damaged in shipping or marked as delivered but that I did not receive?

Yes, you will receive a refund, so long as you purchase Route shipping protection.

I understand that Route shipping protection ensures a refund in the event of  loss, damage or theft. What happens if I de-select it at checkout?
Note that while we will work with you to the degree possible, if you decline Route protection at checkout -- in the unfortunate event your package is missing, lost, stolen or damaged due to shipping -- you are assuming all risk and must work with UPS and USPS directly. We strongly recommend you utilize Route shipping protection for your purchase.

 

My package says it's been delivered but I can't find it. What should I do?
If a package is marked as delivered, but you cannot find it, please first contact your local USPS. They can provide exact GPS coordinates.

If GPS coordinates confirm the package was left as your residence, please check in areas around your home (porches, back door, bushes etc) to see if the mailman left it in an unexpected spot.

Missing packages are also frequently picked up by other members of the household and/or by neighbors for safe keeping, so please check with those individuals as well. 

If USPS has confirmed my GPS coordinates and I can't find my missing package by any other means, what should I do?
If you purchased Route shipping protection at checkout, you are eligible for a full refund. Please locate your email from Route with your order information for instructions on how to open your claim with Route and get your order refunded.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes! We send spikes everywhere. You will select your country during checkout and shipping will automatically calculate based on your location.

I am an international customer. Will I be charged customs fees?
When a package ships internationally, it may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and/or fees imposed (e.g. handling fees) by the destination country. These charges can vary widely and are often based on the price and type of item, package weight and dimensions, origin country, and the taxes, duties, and fees of the destination country.

As a seller, I am not privy to which of these fees, if any, will be applied.

Who is responsible for customs and duties charged for international deliveries?
Buyers are responsible for paying the additional costs such as duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees.

Can I combine orders and receive discount shipping?
There are no shipping discounts for combined made-to-order purchases. Our shipping costs are based on the actual weight and the dimensions of your package, and these rates are calculated automatically by our platform. If you add additional items to an order, the shipping weights increase and costs are updated accordingly. By offering weight-based shipping, you are paying the actual shipping price and not an inflated rate.

The best way to receive discounts on shipping (or otherwise) is to follow us on social media, join our Rawr-some Rewards loyalty program and/or make a single order purchase of $75 which automatically qualifies for free domestic shipping.

The exception is that during our during our occasional ready-to-ship sales  (which happen every 4-6 weeks) orders may be combined, so long as the sale is live (typically for 3-4 days.) In the event that ready-to-ship orders are combined and the combined total is $75+, you will be refunded shipping minus a $4 service fee. (This fee covers non-refundable fees charged to use by our payment processors at the time of your original transaction(s).) 

 

 

ORDERS

Can I modify my order?
We want you to be happy with your purchase! Because each Wolfe and Scamp hoodie is made-to-order just for you, if you would like to modify your order, (and your jacket is not yet in production -- meaning fabrics are cut and ready to be sewn), we would be happy to provide a cancellation and full refund, so that you can re-submit your order with your desired changes.

If your hoodie is already in production, we will be unable to make your changes, so please review your orders carefully before submitting.

Can I cancel my order?
In the event that you need to cancel your order, please contact us immediately. Standard orders need to be cancelled within 24 hours of placing your order. Rush orders need to be cancelled within 2 hours of placing your order. We cannot guarantee any cancellations after these times as we may have already started your order. All canceled orders will be subject to a $5.00 cancellation fee. If we are able to cancel your order after the stated times, there may be a restocking fee in addition to the cancellation fee, depending on order processing.

 

PROMOTIONS

Do you allow more than one discount code to be applied per transaction?
No. Our cart can only apply one code per order.

I want to combine a shop credit  code and discount code to my order. Is this possible?
Because our cart can only accept one code per transaction, shop credit codes cannot be combined with other discounts.

Do you offer discounts on combined orders?
We do not offer discounts on combined orders. Promotional codes may only be applied to single-transaction purchases. To take advantage of promotions that apply discounts for orders above a certain transaction amount (for example, free domestic shipping on orders of $75+), you must have, in a single transaction, purchased the minimum amount required to receive the discount.

I won a giveaway or auction credit. Can the code be applied to both the purchased item(s) and shipping?

Credits can be applied toward purchased item(s) only; shipping is not deducted when using store credit. 

That said, we do offer free shipping on orders of $75+ (US), after discounts and before shipping. If your order is $75+ after your credit is applied, your shipping will automatically be waived at checkout.

REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES

What is this store's refunds and returns policy?
I do my best to accurately describe and photograph each item, so choose carefully. Note that because each item is handmade to your specific needs, we cannot accept returns or exchanges, except in the event that an error was made on our behalf. If you believe an error was made, contact us within 72 hours of the item being marked as delivered. If there is damage to an item, we will request pictures to determine severity. For returns on these items, the item must be unworn, unwashed, and must not have come in contact with smoke.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. Any delays due to customs are the responsibility of the country withholding the package and not Wolfe and Scamp.

PRIVACY POLICY

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from www.wolfeandscamp.com (the “Site”).

What personal information do we collect?
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information”.

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.

How do we use your personal information?
We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

- Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and
- When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

By Providing your phone number, you are subscribing to Wolfe and Scamp text notifications, you agree to receive automated marketing text messages from us about our products and services at the phone number you provided when you subscribed, and that the messages may be sent via automatic telephone dialing system or other technology. Message frequency is recurring. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE or QUIT to opt-out and HELP for customer support. You may receive an additional text message confirming your decision to opt-out.  You understand and agree that attempting to opt-out by any means other than texting the opt-out commands above is not a reasonable means of opting out.

Who may we we share your personal information with?
We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. For example, we use Shopify to power our online store--you can read more about how Shopify uses your Personal Information here: https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy. Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. What is our data retention policy?
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.
